“Extreme” is 14 days programm for experienced high-altitude mountaineers or for those who have already climbed another peak of 6000m+ in the season before climbing to Khan Tengri peak. It is convenient for the program "Snow Leopard."
The example of 14-days programm:
Day 1. Arrive Almaty, Kazakhstan. Meeting at the airport. Visit to a supermarket to purchase high altitude food. 4-hours’ transfer to Karkara Base Camp (2200 m) - 280 km. Stay in comfortable "walk-in tents" (2200m a.s.l.). Welcome meal and gear check.
Day 2. Helicopter charter flight to BC Northern Inylchek, 4000m - 35 minutes. Stay in comfortable "walk-in tents".
Day 3. Consultation and preparation for climbing in BC.
Day 4. Climbing to C1, 4700m.
Day 5. Climbing to C2, 5500m.
Day 6. Ascent to the northern summit of Chapayev peak, 6150m and descent to C3, 5900m.
Day 7. Summit day. Climb to the top of Khan Tengri peak and descend to C3.
Day 8. Return to C2.
Day 9. Descent to BC.
Day 10. Weather contingency day.
Day 11. Weather contingency day.
Day 12. Helicopter flight to BC Karkara.
Day 13. Travel to Almaty, stay at a hotel.
Day 14. Depart hotel for the airport. Fly home.
The expedition fee is from 2300$ per person
Single supplement charge in a hotel + 35$
The expedition fee includes:
* Airport transfers in Almaty by private vehicles
* 1 night bed and breakfast accommodation at Hotel (3*) in Almaty on a twin sharing basis (at arrival or before departure)
* Transfers to the Central Tien Shan Mountains and back (Almaty – Karkara BC – Almaty) by private vehicles
* Lunchboxes on the way to Karkara BC and on the way back
