Uzbekistan Extension

All our programs may be extended to Uzbekistan where you can enjoy the Middle Age architecture of Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and other towns of Uzbekistan now.
In Samarkand's long and eventful history it was conquered by Alexander the Great, sacked by Genghis Khan, and was the capital of Tamerlan.
After your main trip program is over we fly to Tashkent from Almaty and continue our exploration of Middle Age Central Asia.

Program

Day 1

Flight to Tashkent . Transfer to Samarkand (290 km).Hotel accommodation.

Day 2

City excursion : Registan Sqare ( medreses of Ulug Bek, Tillya-Kari, Sher-Dor ) , Gur-Emir Mausoleum. Lunch. Midle Age Ulugbek Observatory, museum and site of ancient settlement Afrosiab, Daniyar Tomb, Shakh-I-Zinda Mausoleum Complex.

Day 3

City excursion : Abd-I-Derun Abd-I-Berun historical complex and Izhrat Khona Mausoleum. Lunch. Excursion continues for 3 more hours: Khodja Akhror historical complex, visit to the museum of Samarkand history.

Day 4

Transfer to Bukhara (270km). Hotel. Lunch. City sightseeing : visit Lyabi - Houze Complex, Poi - Kalyan Complex.

Day 5

City sightseeing : visit Ark Fortress, Bolohouze Mosque, Ismail Samani Mausoleum. Lunch. Sitora - I - Mokhi - Hosa Residence, Chor - Minor Mausoleum.

Day 6

Transfer to Tashkent. Lunch in Samarkand. Tashkent city tour.

Day 7

Transfer to the airport. Flight to Almaty.
